Hotbar Dupe

The HotBar Dupe is a classic client-sided dupe that allows you to duplicate an entire stack of items! This dupe works on Realms, servers, and multiplayer, though it’s primarily designed for singleplayer or local worlds. This is due to the way Minecraft saving works. In multiplayer, if multiple players are online and nearby, you might have difficulties using it. It’s recommended that if you’re on a multiplayer server, you go to the Nether or far away from other players. It’s highly encouraged to do this when only 1-2 players are online (1 player is always optimal). Multiplayer might also require a nether portal to do this dupe (watch the entire video for more information).

Item Dupe (Aka HotBar Dupe)
Dupe works by tricking the game into duplicating a stack of items in your inventory.

1. Start by putting 64 items in your inventory (these are the items you will dupe).
2. Now put one more additional item right next to it (same item as the 64).
3. Next spread some filler items throughout your inventory.

Example:

4. Drop the the single diamond, then move away from it.
5. Place one more filler item where the diamond was originally.
6. Walk over to the diamond you dropped (won't be able to pick it up).
7. Open your inventory.
8. Drop the stack of 64 diamonds (press Q), whilst also pressing Escape.
Extra: You’re going to forcibly close the inventory while holding the item you want to drop, so that you pick up the diamond and drop the entire stack of diamonds at the same time.

Should look like this if you do it right:

9. Now don't open your inventory or move (force quit the game). Either press F4 if you're on PC, or close the entire app if you're on mobile. Console players will need to force shut down the application (search up a YouTube video like this). Miner Mends has a few tutorials on this glitch so it's best if you watch them.

10. Rejoin your world then open your inventory (you're done).

This works on all devices! Some people don't find success on console because they don't do it the right way.
